Chicken Friendly Holiday Pie Recipe

Just like us humans, chickens deserve a holiday treat too!

  • 3 Cups Scratch & Peck Mash
  • 1/2 Cup melted coconut oil or lard
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1-3 TBSP Cinnamon
  • 1-3 TBSP Cayenne
  • Optional: Organic Herbs and/or Grubs to sprinkle on top
  • Preheat oven to 350F.
  • Mix mash, melted coconut oil or lard, molasses, eggs, cinnamon, and cayenne in a large mixing bowl.
  • Press the mixture into a pie dish.
  • Bake for 15 minutes or just until it’s set.
  • Let cool, then add Organic Herbs to the top (Or Grubs!) and serve to your flock!
