“Chick Season” Terms & Conditions

1. Campaign Overview 

The Campaign, also known as the “Hatching Happiness” campaign (which may also be referred to as “Chick Season,” the “Starter Bundle,” the “Starter Feed Bundle,” or “Grow as You Go”; collectively, the “Campaign”) is designed to help customers simplify chick nutrition by starting with the Starter Feed Bundle and selecting the appropriate amount of additional feed needed based on flock size. 

All Campaign purchases begin with the Starter Bundle, which includes starter feed (mash or crumble you choose) and additional informational and promotional materials designed to support new chick owners. 

Customers may add additional feed quantities to meet the needs of their flock. 

2. Bundle Contents 

The Starter Bundle includes: 

• Organic Starter Feed (Mash or Crumble) 

• Selected chick supplements (where applicable) 

• A printed Brooder Temperature Reference Chart 

• A sheet of chicken-themed magnets 

• A QR code linking to a Scratch & Peck Chicken Playlist 

• A QR code linking to a Digital Chick Guide 

Bundle contents may vary slightly based on availability. Scratch & Peck reserves the right to substitute items of equal or greater value when necessary. 

Digital resources accessed via QR code are provided as informational materials and are subject to change or updates at our discretion. 

3. Feed Quantity Selection 

Customers are responsible for selecting the appropriate amount of feed based on the number of chicks they are raising and suggested products listed. Scratch and Peck is not responsible for any miscalculation, overages, or shortages on product. Customer is ultimately responsible for the feeding and supervision of nutrition amount for their flock due to a wide  variety of factors that are outside the company’s control.  

Scratch & Peck may provide guidance or calculators to estimate feed needs, but these estimates are informational only and may vary depending on breed, environment, and flock management practices. 

4. Automated Feed Planning 

The Campaign may offer the option to continue receiving feed and supplements automatically through a subscription or automated ordering program. 

If a customer chooses to enroll in automated deliveries: 

• Future shipments may include feeds appropriate for the next stage of the chicken growth cycle. 

• Shipment timing may be based on estimated chick development stages. 

• Customers may modify, skip, or cancel future shipments according to the subscription terms outlined at checkout. 

Participation in automated delivery is optional unless explicitly selected during purchase. 

5. Promotional Materials 

Items included in the Starter Bundle such as magnets, printed guides, and QR code content are promotional additions designed to enhance the customer experience. 

These items have no cash value and cannot be exchanged or substituted for other products. 

6. Availability 

The Hatching Happiness Campaign and Starter Bundle are available while supplies last. 

Scratch & Peck reserves the right to: 

• Modify bundle contents 

• Adjust pricing 

• End the Campaign 

• Limit quantities per customer at any time without prior notice. 

7. Pricing and Discounts 

All pricing displayed on the website reflects the current retail price at the time of purchase. 

Any promotional discounts, subscription incentives, or limited-time offers associated with the Campaign may change or expire without notice. 

Discounts cannot be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated. 

8. Returns and Refunds 

All purchases are subject to the Scratch & Peck Feeds Return Policy, available on our website. 

Due to the nature of feed products, opened feed items may not be eligible for return unless damaged or defective. 

Promotional materials included in the Starter Bundle are not eligible for replacement if lost or discarded. 

9. Informational Disclaimer 

The educational materials, guides, and recommendations provided through this Campaign are intended for general informational purposes only. 

They are not a substitute for professional veterinary advice or flock management expertise. 

Customers are responsible for proper care and management of their chickens. 

10. Limitation of Liability 

Scratch & Peck Feeds is not responsible for: 

• Variations in flock health or performance 

• Feed consumption differences 

• Chick mortality or husbandry outcomes 

• External factors affecting flock development 

Use of our products and resources is at the customer’s own discretion. 

11. Campaign Modifications 

Scratch & Peck reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Campaign at any time without prior notice. 

Changes may include updates to bundle contents, pricing, digital resources, or subscription options. 

12. Governing Law 

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict of law principles.
