Product Description

Our Cluckin’ Good Organic Whole Grain Wheat is Non-GMO Project VerifiedCertified Organic, and a great choice for sprouting. We buy organic wheat from farmers in the Pacific Northwest. Sprouting Scratch and Peck Feeds Organic Whole Grains

Feed Cluckin’ Good Organic Whole Wheat from your hand or scatter on the ground. Try sprouting to gain full nutritional value. Dry whole wheat is a sweet treat for animals. Sprouted wheat provides a boost in protein, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Vitamin B Complex, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Pantothenic Acid, and carbohydrates. Always offer plenty of fresh water, plus free choice, appropriately sized Cluckin’ Good Poultry Grit for chickens and ducks.

All of our animal feeds are formulated as complete rations. Additional supplementation of grains is not necessary for animals’ diets, but they are certainly enjoyed!

The high quality, uncracked state of our Cluckin’ Good Organic Whole Wheat makes it great for sprouting. The practice of sprouting grains and legumes has been around for centuries — offering dense nutrition and easily digestible energy for poultry and livestock. Soaking whole grains and legumes removes the protective outer coating, making it more digestible and releasing minerals and proteins. Want to try sprouting? Follow our instructions on how to sprout.

Disclaimer: Although our whole grains are an excellent choice for sprouting, we cannot guarantee 100% viability.

My little flock gets a ration of Scratch and Peck sprouted grains every afternoon. The sprouted wheat is their favorite, and it also is the best sprouting grain I have tried so far. Barley comes in second place and is a hit as well!
