We formulate Starter feed for the nutritional needs of chicks 0-8 weeks of age. One of the most significant differences is that chicks need high protein to grow healthy bones and all those feathers. Plus, chicks need cracked grains for their smaller beaks.

Q: Why do chickens and ducks need grit?

Chickens and ducks require grit to digest their food properly since they don't have teeth! Their food collects in the gizzard, and the grit acts as a grinding agent to break food down and prepare it for digestion.

Scratch and Peck’s Organic Herbs are a carefully chosen mix of organic herbs and edible flowers with known benefits in herbal medicine, including anti-inflammation and immune support.
